Solutions for Psychologists

SIGMA's reputation for publishing quality assessments and providing innovative testing solutions is well established. One of our oldest instruments, the Personality Research Form (PRF), is among the most cited measures in personality research.  Two new instruments, the Nonverbal Personality Questionnaire (NPQ) and the Five-Factor Nonverbal Personality Questionnaire (FFNPQ), provide psychologists with unique cross-cultural tools.

Normal Personality

Five-Factor Nonverbal Personality Questionnaire (FF-NPQ)

Efficient and accurate image-based assessment of the 'Big 5' factors of personality.

Jackson Personality Inventory-Revised (JPI-R)

The JPI-R provides valid and reliable insight into respondents' abilities to function in a wide range of settings including work, organizational, leadership, and social situations.

Leadership Development Report (LDR)

The LDR is an expert system designed for individuals wishing to improve managerial and executive performance.

Multidimensional Emotional Intelligence Assessment (MEIA)

The MEIA is a 20-minute measure of EI that captures each of the 10 facets of Salovey and Mayer's (1990) influential EI model.

NEO Five-Factor Inventory (NEO-FFI)

The NEO-FFI is a shortened version of the NEO PI-R, designed to give quick, reliable and valid measures of the five domains of adult personality.

NEO Personality Inventory-Revised (NEO-PI-R)

Based on the Five-Factor model, the NEO PI-R measures the interpersonal, motivational, emotional, and attitudinal styles of adults and adolescents.

Nonverbal Personality Questionnaire (NPQ)

The item illustrations in the NPQ make it ideal for cross-cultural applications, and other areas where language may be an issue.

Occupational Stress Inventory-R (OSI-R)

The OSI-R is a concise measure of three (3) domains of occupational adjustment: occupational stress, psychological strain, and coping resources.

Personality Research Form (PRF)

The PRF is designed to yield scores for personality traits relevant to the functioning of individuals in a wide variety of situations.

Six Factor Personality Questionnaire (SFPQ)

The SFPQ encompasses and extends the popular 'Big 5' factors of personality.

Sex-Role Egalitarianism Scale (SRES)

The SRES was designed to measure attitudes toward the equality of men and women.

State-Trait Anger Expression Inventory-2 (STAXI-2)

The STAXI-2 is a 57-item inventory which measures the intensity of anger as an emotional state (State Anger) and the disposition to experience angry feelings as a personality trait (Trait Anger).

Survey of Work Styles (SWS)

The SWS is a 96-item, self-report questionnaire designed to assess six distinct components of the Type A behavior pattern.

Psychopathology

Basic Personality Inventory (BPI)

The BPI is a multiphasic personality inventory intended for use with both clinical and normal populations to identify sources of maladjustment and personal strengths.

Coolidge Assessment Battery (CAB)

The CAB was designed by a clinical neuropsychologist, and has a threefold purpose: (1) to assess clinical syndromes on Axis I of the DSM; (2) to assess personality disorders according to the strict criteria on Axis II of the DSM; and (3) to evaluate neuropsychological functioning.

Carlson Psychological Survey (CPS)

The CPS is an instrument for the assessment and classification of criminal offenders, persons charged with crimes, and others who have come to the attention of the criminal justice or social welfare systems.

Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI)

The PAI provides information relevant for clinical diagnosis, treatment planning and screening for psychopathology.

Psicologico Texto (PT)

The PT is a unique adaptation of the Carlson Psychological Survey (CPS), designed especially for use with the Spanish-literate criminal offender or substance abuser.

Psychological Screening Inventory (PSI)

The PSI is a brief, non-threatening, easily administered and easily interpreted mental health screening device ideal for situations where professional time may be at a premium.

Reynolds Adolescent Depression Scale-2 (RADS-2)

The RADS-2 is an ideal tool to screen for adolescents with significant depressive symptoms within school assessment programs or individual practice settings.

Aptitude Measures

Multidimensional Aptitude Battery-II (MAB-II)

The MAB-II assesses aptitudes and intelligence. It yields a profile of ten subtest scores, and scores for Verbal, Performance and Full Scale.

Personnel Assessment Form (PAF)

The PAF is an efficient, accurate measure of general cognitive ability designed for easy administration and interpretation.
